12 Pack? How about a Peacemaker 99 Pack? EOT Beer News

If you are reading this article, the chances are good that you enjoy beer. And when friends get together for food, fun, and good craft beer, the chances are also good that they will drink more than just a couple of bottles or cans. So if you are hosting a get together, what should you buy? A 6 pack? A 12 pack? A few cases? I suggest a 99 pack. Yes, you read that right.

Enter Austin Beerworks, a craft brewery in Austin Texas that makes four simple but well-rated beers and distributes them in cans. The brewery focuses on producing quality craft beer simply. One of these simple but good beers is their Peacemaker American Ale (5.0% ABV). The company describes it as a classic American Ale with a good amount of hops, a refreshing, crisp, everyday beer to enjoy chilled. Well, it seems that people have indeed been enjoying this beer, because the company now offers it in a 99 pack.

The brewery wisely recommends carrying it with a helper, because it is 7 feet long and weighs 82 pounds. The obvious question is how anyone without an industrial cooler can keep the beer chilled at home, but I digress. The package is long and thin, containing three rows of 33 cans of the ale each. The price? As you might guess, $99.99.

“What started out as a joke became very real when we realized how much people love the idea of 99 beers for $99.99!” says brewery founder Michael Graham. The advice on the packaging? “Lift with your legs and not your back.” Good advice, we say. So if you cannot think of a way to entertain your friends at your next party, find one of these 99 pack monsters, and have fun!
