Beachwood PRIDE of cHOPS IPA Celebrates O’Brien’s Anniversary: EOT Beer News
The following is an official press release from Beachwood Brewing:
(Long Beach, CA) – One of San Diego’s most venerable beer bars, O’Brien’s Pub is celebrating 20 years of serving craft beer. To help commemorate this milestone, Beachwood Brewing will release PRIDE OF cHOPS on August 26th. This marvelously hoppy and aromatic India pale ale is hopped with a blend of Amarillo, Nelson Sauvin, and Mosaic.
As one of the original craft beer bars in the country, O’Brein’s Pub laid the foundation for many great craft beer bars that followed. The limited edition PRIDE OF cHOPS will be served on draft and sold in 22 oz. bottles at both Beachwood locations as well as O’brien’s Pub.
The label features the legendary profile and sideburn “chops” of O’Brien’s owner Tom Nickel and is also named after the pub’s magnanimous lion!
PRIDE OF cHOPS will become available at Beachwood BBQ in Seal Beach and Beachwood BBQ & Brewing in Long Beach at 5pm on August 26th, 2014. Bottles will also be available at finer craft beer retailers across Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego counties shortly thereafter.
