Seasonal sips: crafting the perfect autumn cocktails

No one panic. There is absolutely no need to panic. That cannot be reiterated enough. However, summer is essentially over. Sunlight is fleeting. Fall is upon us. Winter is coming. But for real, it is about to be pumpkin SZN and Everything On Tap wants to make sure you're prepared.
Summer is almost over and fall is right around the corner. It's time to trade in those light and crispy summer spritzes for pumpkin spice, apple spice, and foliage. While you're kicking back on an Adirondack chair, enjoying an apple cider donut, remember, the fun doesn't have to stop with food. Here is a list of easy cocktail recipes to put you in the autumn mood.
Crafting the perfect autumn cocktails
Lemonade cider
Not quite ready to give up summer? This drink is a nice transition into the fall season.
1 part lemonade, 1 part apple cider, 1.5 oz of whiskey, and a pinch of cinnamon. Combine all together in a shaker and pour over ice. Garnish with cinnamon stick and lemon.
Pumpkin patch margarita
1 oz pumpkin puree, 1 oz lime juice, 1/2 oz agave syrup, 1/2 oz triple sec, 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice mix, 2 oz tequila. For the rim, 3 tbsp brown sugar, 3 tbsp agave syrup, and 1/4 tsp pumpkin spice mix. Rim a chilled glass with the agave syrup then dip into the brown sugar and pumpkin spice mix. Combine all ingredients into a shaker and pour into a chilled glass.
Caramel apple punch
1 1/2 oz apple juice concentrate, 1/4 cup caramel vodka, 1/2 cup lemon lime soda. Combine all ingredients and serve over ice.
Pumpkin white Russian
3 tbsp pumpkin spice coffee creamer, 3 tbsp vodka, 4 tbsp Kahlua, 3 tsp pumpkin puree, and a pinch of pumpkin pie spice. Combine all ingredients in shaker and pour over ice.
Apple butter old fashioned
1 tbsp apple butter, 1 dash of aromatic bitters, 1/4 cup apple cider, 1 oz bourbon, and 1/3 oz club soda. Combine all ingredients in shaker pour over ice and garnish with apple slice.
Spicy pear martini
2 oz pear and spices infused vodka, 1 oz pear nectar juice, 1 oz cointreau (or triple sec). Combine all ingredients and pour in chilled glass, garnish with a sliced pear.
Fall is right around the corner, people. We don't have much time until pumpkin is in EVERYTHING. Make sure this fall you don't get lost in the (pumpkin) sauce.
