Party planning can seem intimidating at first, especially if it’s your first time. However, nothing makes party planning easier than having alcohol at the center. Hosting a wine night does not have to be a major party. It could just include close friends and family. Wine nights work best with 8-10 people depending on what kind of party you want to have. To help make party planning easier and ensure the night is full of fun... here are some party hosting suggestions!

Themed night

To spice things up and turn a normal party into something everyone can enjoy is paramount to a successful night! Having a theme can be a way to switch it up. Such themes could range from books to movies to seasons to music etc.

Choose a book/movie that everyone in your party knows and try to find a bottle of wine that matches the vibe of the book/movie. For example, the theme could be Harry Potter and the wine could be Witches Brew. Witches Brew is a mulled spiced wine with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger that can be purchased at Trader Joe's and select liquor stores. Everyone can dress up as their favorite character/house to really kick the party up a notch.

Another fun idea is for everyone to bring a bottle of wine that captures the essence of their favorite album or song. This could work as a spinoff of show and tell. The guest presents their wine and plays a song for the group while they all sip on their respective wine.
