Jigsaw/ Billy the Puppet- Black spiral martini

"I want to play a game."

Jigsaw may be a little less known because some people are not fans of the Saw franchise. The movies are known to be extremely gory and gruesome which made them famous. Jigsaw is the mastermind behind the infamous traps but we also can't forget about Billy the puppet who taunts the victims from his tricycle.

This martini is inspired by both Jigsaw and Billy because martinis are known to be strong drinks and you have to be a strong soul to watch Saw. This recipe does not use charcoal but instead, black vodka that can be bought at select liquor stores or made at home. The red sprinkles for the rim represent the red from Jigsaw's disguise but also the spirals on Billy's cheeks. The lemon garnish is also a hint of the spirals.

  • 2 oz black vodka
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • 1 oz cranberry juice
  • Red sprinkles for rim
  • Lemon twist to represent spiral

Leather face- Eyeball jello shot

"Who Will Survive, and What Will Be Left of Them?"

Leather Face is another iconic character who has his own franchise and remakes from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. This is another gory movie that is known for its brutality and dark themes of cannibalism. Leather Face is probably the most visually scary villain on this list.

Since Leather Face is a scary cannibal I thought a jello shot would best represent him. A jello shot is technically eaten and not sipped on like a regular cocktail. The garnish for the shot is a gummy eyeball, but any gummy body part would suffice.

Yields 9 shots

  • ¾ cup vodka
  • 1 box raspberry jello
  • 1 ¼ cup boiling water
  • Gummy eye ball (for obvious gory reasons)
